These terms apply to all work carried out by The Tree Fellowes, run by Charlie Fellowes, 10 Nuthatch Close, Staines-upon-Thames, TW19 7BN.
Quotes
Quotes are based on what we see when we visit. If the job changes or something unexpected is found once work starts, we'll talk it through with you before doing anything extra.
Payment
We don't take a deposit. Payment is due once the agreed work is finished.
Permissions and protected trees
It is the customer's responsibility to check whether a tree is covered by a Tree Preservation Order or sits in a conservation area, and to get any consent needed from the local council before work starts. Customers are also responsible for making sure they own the tree or have the owner's permission.
Access
Please make sure we can reach the work area on the agreed day, with vehicles moved and pets kept inside. Let us know about any hidden services, such as underground cables or pipes, that you're aware of.
Waste
Unless agreed otherwise, all green waste is removed and disposed of by us as a registered waste carrier.
Insurance
We hold public liability insurance up to £2 million.
Cancellations and weather
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or rearrange. We may reschedule work for safety reasons, such as high winds.
Guarantees
We don't offer a written guarantee or warranty on our work. Instead, you only pay once the job is finished.
